Eczema

If your child frequently has extremely itchy skin, there’s a good chance eczema is to blame. Also called dermatitis, eczema is an umbrella term for several types of skin conditions. Both words mean inflamed skin. At least one in 10 children suffer from the most common form, called atopic dermatitis. About half grow out of it.
